Located in northern France along the English Channel, the seaside resort of Le Touquet was established in the 19th century. It has been a fashionable holiday destination since the interwar period, with sumptuous villas built in the pine and birch forest planted to the east of the town. Along the long sandy beach of Le Touquet, to the west of the town, there are hotels, restaurants, and a casino. People don't just come to Le Touquet's main beach for swimming! Sand yachting is the local sport. The large sandy beach allows you to fully enjoy the English Channel amidst wild spaces and dunes. There is also a thalassotherapy center on the seafront (to the south), ideal for ending the day in complete relaxation.
