Nowadays, a quarter of the reservations are made on dog friendly properties. Very Dog Trip is the 1st and unique holiday reservation platform 100% dedicated to pet allowed holiday rentals, offering to the owners the possibility to define in details the conditions under which animals are accepted.
Beside Very Dog Trip trust charter and the acceptance conditions you define (number, weight, ages, breeds, etc.), you can set a specific security deposit or some additional fees to cover extra cleaning costs.
The most demanding owners can request the tenants to subscribe to Very Dog Trip insurances at their own costs. Those insurances are made of a Civil Liability which aims to protect the real estate asset and a damage insurance to cover any damage to the furnitures.

Each tenant who registers with Very Dog Trip is ranked 10/10. A bad review affect their ranking until they are excluded from the network and can no longer use Very Dog Trip.

Security deposit / Additional fee
You can set a specific security deposit to accept dogs or some additional fees to cover extra cleaning costs or any other cost you feel justified.
No additional fee to welcome dogs is always better and maximise your chance to get bookings. A supplement is understand by the tenant assuming it remains reasonable and justified - as for example to cover extra cleaning fee.
A specific security deposit while the tenant has a dog can be seen as a dissuasive tool and can help for the tenant to be particularly cautious.
Civil Liability - Damages
Each tenant can subscribe on his own to Very Dog Trip Civil liability and damages insurances. You can enforced the tenant to subscribe.
Very Dog Trip insurances allow a full protection of your property. They come on top of your security deposit and protect you against non predictable events caused by the tenants and their dogs.
The Civil Liability aims to protect your property as a real estate asset while the Damage insurance aims to protect your furnitures.
Each tenant can subscribe on his own but you can also enforced the tenant to subscribe. In such a case, the reservation amount will increased by 5% to cover the cost of those insurances.

Each of the reservations made through Very Dog Trip can benefit from our Owner's guarantees. You can rent out your property with peace of mind. This global approach is unique and one of Very Dog Trip key elements. This is the right translation of what we were looking for and what we were never able to find before as owners.
As any mutualist scheme, our guarantees can only stand if they are used in a reasonable manner by each Very Dog Trip user. We rely on your common sense.

Implementation
In order to activate Very Dog Trip insurances, the tenant must have subscribed to them, either on his own, either based on your demand.
To activate those insurances, you should send us your request by email or post mail (with acknowledge of receipt) with supporting documents. Your request will be addressed by our guarantor partner in France who will decide on its admissibility.
