Located in the heart of the village of Montfaucon, a 13th-century English bastide, Causalis is an authentic house built of light-coloured stone, typical of the Lot region. It enjoys a privileged setting within the Causses du Quercy Regional Natural Park, an exceptional area designated a UNESCO Global Geopark in 2017.
Between the Causse de Gramat and the Bouriane, Causalis is the perfect starting point for discovering unspoilt landscapes on foot or by bike, while enjoying the calm and light of a remarkable natural environment.
Ideal for up to 5 guests, this house of approximately 65 m² is arranged over three levels and combines historic character with renovated comfort.

Ground floor: living area with lounge and fully renovated open-plan kitchen, functional and welcoming
1st floor: bedroom with one double bed (140×190 cm) and one single bed (90×190 cm), renovated shower room with toilet
2nd floor: bedroom with one double bed (140×190 cm)
No garden, but a small green space in front of the house, accessible for setting up a table and enjoying the unobstructed view over the body of water

Just a few steps from the house, you will find Saint-Barthélémy Church, renowned for its 17th-century Baroque altarpieces, as well as open viewpoints over the landscapes of the Lot. In front of the accommodation, the Montfaucon Lake picnic area: a small fishing lake with a charming washhouse, and a picnic spot with tables and benches shaded by plane trees.
