Maximum 2 pets/ dogs allowed. Holidays in a listed building combines heritage conservation and tourism. Historically valuable buildings are taken over, gently renovated and rented out as holiday flats. The model provides a double benefit: the monuments are given a new future and the holiday guests experience a stay in an exceptional building. The idea is being realised by the foundation Ferien im Baudenkmal (FiB), which was founded in 2005 by the Swiss Heritage Society.
Car park: A private car park is available in front of the house.
Public transport: From Basel by train to Möhlin, then bus in the direction of Wegenstetten, Oberdorf. From Zurich to Olten, then S3 direction Porrentruy to Gelterkinden, from Gelterkinden bus direction Wegenstetten, Oberdorf. By car from Zurich on the A1 towards Bern/Basel, past Frick, exit Eiken, Bad Säckingen, Laufenburg, through Eiken and Schupfart to Wegenstetten. From Basel in the direction of Zurich on the A2. After Rheinfelden in the direction of Möhlin, Zeiningen, Zuzgen, Hellikon as far as Wegenstetten.
Bicycles: Can be parked in the garage.
Number of persons: 6 (2 double beds, 2 single beds).
Garden: Covered arbour with access to the large natural garden and garden seating area. The garden also harbours a biotope.

Open: The house can be rented from April to October and can also be booked for three nights except in summer.

The Flederhaus is a listed building that has been renovated with great respect for the existing substance. The tenants are aware of this and treat the property and the bats with care. Although the technical equipment is up-to-date, certain functional details do not meet current standards and are a potential source of danger. The tenants are aware of these circumstances.
